He Really Does Have Mad Spreadsheets Yo!

I bought Jeff this shirt for Christmas.
It was the perfect gift.

Because he really does have mad spreadsheets, yo.

I mean, I can't even think of the last time we have gone on an overnight trip
without it involving a spreadsheet.

You want to go to Great Wolf Lodge?

Let me just do a quick data pull of our expenses....

And add a pivot table.... Add a filter and some conditional formatting....

Link that to the amortization table of our house note...

Okay. It looks like we can go.

But I am not going to complain about his over analysis,
because he is learning how to play the guitar.

This guitar from when he was 12 is turning into quite the hobby these days.

The Lyle musical collection
(which once only included a plastic harmonica and home-made trumpet)has grown.
We've added an amp, some pretty picks, a capo, and a music binder.
Even a music stand.

Practice begins every night after dinner.
I don't know that I've ever heard any other song
as many times as I've heard 'Hey There Delila.'
And that includes my 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' tape in 1988.

He was a little offended one night when Hayden said in a matter of fact tone,
"Uh Dad, that's like a ROCK STAR guitar. Why don't you play something AWESOME?!?"

G Tar, G Tar, G Tar. If you want to see a good GheTire…………drive down McDermott to McDonalds, go inside and have a Look C. Well at least it is Second Fiddle. I think you have first.

Tim McGraw does have a new album out with some great tunes, so I expect a full rendition by the Lyle/Stadler band next time we are up there.
