Knowing that in advance could have saved some time.
I love to make pigs in a blanket with the kids, because Davis treats them like they are real pigs. In real blankets. I usually let him make one or two, and he kisses them as he gently places them on the baking sheet. Then as I put them into the oven, he encourages them and tells them to "get warm".
But then when they come out of the oven, the other side of Davis comes out and he starts talking for the pigs.
"Ahhhh, no!!! Don't eat me!!" he'll say, as he lets out a big growl and bites the pig in half.
It's therapeutic, I think....not always being the little guy.
