Seventy: Fever

A certain someone found the school nurse and was sick enough to be sent home to mom's work until a parental hand-off could happen at 12 noon.

In a completely unrelated conversation from this morning, today was PE day and now they have to run 6 laps in PE. “Ugh!”

The pros of getting sent home to mom’s work: headphones are the neatest thing since sliced bread (in the mind of a child)

The cons: having a slight fever (100.0) makes you sort of cold.
