I've said it before and I will say it again. Sweet Hayden is our guinea pig kid. Bless his heart.
In preparation for Blake's big arrival, I find myself looking more at old pictures and videos over the last seven years. True documentation of how much our life has changed since BK (before kids).
This is just one of many sets of photos that I have come across that make me wonder what I was thinking. Why on earth were we trying to get a 6 week old to ride a horsie?
I guess we'll never know. I blame it on the lack of sleep.
* I don't guarantee that we won't do equally stupid things / photo shoots with Blake. But with him, it will be for a different reason. It's called third child syndrome. I anticipate he will be full on wrestling and playing age-inappropriate video games by the time he is a year old. Baby Einstein - doubtful. Barney Schmarney. I am sure he will skip right to Batman and Star Wars to fit in.

Oh Wow, you can actually see Hayden's eyes, nose, and mouth in those two pictures. The second picture is Hayden's "eyes" for sure. Keep in mind I don't see; so I know what I am talking about!
Poor thing. He looks terrified! But so cute.
Oh my! Everybody knows to wait 8 weeks before letting babies ride rocking horses! Love his face in the bottom pic - it is so Hayden!
Sweet memories. Hayden was a great guinea pig, although I think he did most of the teaching. It's been really fun watching the parenting changes with each kid. Can't wait to see what's in store for Blake.
I'm pretty sure Blake will ride a horse at 3 weeks ... I bet he will be able to hang with the BIG boys ... Jeff, Hayden, and Davis :)
