I Should Have Asked For An Elevator

Call me high maintenance if you will. As a kid I grew up with a trampoline. And since my Dad was in the construction business, it was really no big deal for him to whip out a set of custom stairs for it.

After purchasing the trampoline last month, I was somewhat insistent that we build our very own custom stairs so my kids could live the American Dream like I had.

That’s when my excel-loving, database-building, budget-creating, accountant husband set out to prove a point that he has more skills up his sleeve than I knew about.
He drew the plans. He bought the tools. He measured. He cut. He hammered. He drilled. He painted. And as it turns out, custom stairs actually cost more than the trampoline itself.

Worth every dime.

If it is any consolation, I am sure they cost more than the trampoline at our house too.
Jeff did a great job on them!

Love you,
Mom
