Note to Self

NEVER, under any circumstances, EVER…tell someone that you have been lucky because your kids have not been sick much in the last year.

No exaggeration…less than 24 hours later, Hayden was running a fever of 103 degrees and throwing up.

After one pediatrician visit, 4 hours of waiting for medicine at CVS, and a week of passing the germs around, we are all finally over the flu.

Fortunately Davis was the only one of us to escape it. It probably has something to do with the fact that he is habitually asking us for a paper towel to clean his hands. OCD.

But please note God, I am not bragging about Davis not getting sick. I am also knocking on big thick wood, as I type this.

Secondary Note to Self…. NEVER, under any circumstances, EVER get another prescription filled at CVS.
