I thought I would never hear that phrase again when I left the halls of Hildebrandt Junior High School 14 years ago. But it’s back. It sounds just as funny now as it did back then. Actually, funnier, because Hayden doesn’t even know when to use it correctly.
Me: Hayden, put your shoes on so that we can go to school.
Hayden: Duh, I am.
Me: Do you guys want sloppy joes tonight, or tacos?
Hayden: Duh, sloppy joes….duh.
Me: Did you have a good day today?
Hayden: Duh, yea.
