K-I-S-S-I-N-G

Davis and McKenna sittin’ in a tree… K-I-S-S-I-N-G. Ok, so they aren’t officially kissing, but it sounds like a relationship may be brewing in the toddler room. On his daily report card the other day, it said that Davis was patting McKenna’s back to help her go to sleep. Ahhh, how sweet! And this is good news for Hayden too, because McKenna has an older sister, so maybe Davis can hook him up.

Hayden may not need help though. He recently insisted that we get a McDonalds toy for his friend Sarah. He wanted to give it to her as a gift. We obliged, and Jeff even helped him put it in a pretty gift bag. As they got to school, Hayden immediately got shy and begged Jeff to give it to her. Jeff refused. After much hesitation, Hayden sat down across from Sarah at the breakfast table, slid the bag across the table, and said robotically, “They didn’t have pink. They only had black.”

All that being said, Davis is without a doubt, the biggest flirt of the family. One night, as we were dining at Outback, an attractive lady and her date came up to us and noted how cute Davis was. We had noticed that Davis had been turning completely around in his high chair eyeing her, but we chose to ignore it since he at least wasn’t screaming. She went on to say that every time Davis had turned around, he would smile real big at her, followed by a serious look, almost a scowl face at her husband. This is okay for the time being, but once his cute-factor wears off, it may not work so well for Dave.
