Day 25: Something I Made

I've wanted cute Easter basket for the boys for eight years now and this weekend I finally got around to making them.

Basic and Simple but I love how they turned out and I especially love the fact that I saved the $50+ for the personalized Pottery Barn baskets that I have always had my eye on.

This was my first project using the Silhouette machine my mom bought my for my birthday.
Thanks Mom!

Also, thanks to Jeff for spray painting the baskets. (I am capable of spray painting but no longer allowed to because of a couple of times I accidently forgot to put a barrier down on the driveway. Oops!)

Supplies for Each Basket:
Apple Basket $3.50 (50% off at Hobby Lobby)
Ribbon $2 (50% off at Hobby Lobby)
Small wooden plaques (4 for $2)
Vinyl for Silhouette (could use printer instead)
Scrapbook paper
Modge Podge
Spray Paint
