On Folding Paper (Over and Over)

Hayden is very into origami these days.

And by "very into" I mean that he loves to look up youtube videos on how to make every origami idea that pops in his mind. Then he attempts to make it for about five minutes.

Then he gives up and begs one of us to make it for him.

I do what any good mom would do. I refuse and tell him that it is his hobby, not mine.

This goes on and on and on and on.

And on some more.

If I haven't mentioned it before, Hayden has a one-track mind. A very narrow, straight, SINGLE TRACK MIND.

Will you just help me with this one fold?
I just don't understand this ONE PART?
Just real quick... tell me if I am doing this right.

And the next thing you know I am sitting Indian Style Criss Cross Apple Sauce in the middle of my bedroom floor shhhhshing the rest of my family so I can hear the instructions on how to make a proper fold for a jumping frog.

Jeff and I are becoming quite the professionals. Among our accomplishments: dragon, penguin, cat, star, fox, beyblade, fortune teller, cube.

Jeff's Dragon

My 8-point star

Hayden once again is exhibiting his "mini" Jeff characteristics. Jeff made hundreds of elaborately folded birds and airplanes. Luckily for me, Jeff was much smarter than me and didn't need me to help him.
