A Sign of Affection

Yesterday when I picked up Hayden's school work folder, a card was inside. On the front of the card was a heart that someone had delicately cut out of construction paper and glued on. On the inside of the card was this picture. Over dinner that night, I showed the sweet card to the rest of the family and asked who had drawn it.

Me: Hayden, who drew this for you?

Hayden: Bella.

Jeff: I think Bella likes you.

Hayden: Bella loves me (with a tinge of arrogance).

Jeff: I think Bella likes your butt.
